There doesn't seem to be any realistic discussion about the standards of Premier League referees

Was it only Clattenburg who got invited to the euros once? and not one to the next one?

They are collectively useless and have no standing in the international game. They police themselves which is an even bigger flaw in the set up. They introduced their own version of VAR rules last season, fucked the game up for everyone, and had to fall into line with EUFA standards — what could be more embarrassing than that?

They are an absolute disgrace and should be called out on it.

Mike Dean is a cunt and bottled that Ndidi decision which was clearly a second yellow.

The problem with him is dishes out cards left right and centre for minor fails to massage his own ego.

When he books players in the early stages before the game has settled down, he then has a massive problem on his hands when second and third fails are committed, even if they are just minor fails. Because he then has to give a second yellow.

The Ndidi decision was outrageous though because it was a cynical fail when Bowen had clearly got passed him and was about to break. If the game had ended up 3-3 I would have been livid.

Mike Dean had his usual adverse influence on the game

Firstly, booking Soucek for what was a 'foul' at best, which was actually a very good tackle in which he was first to get his foot to the ball, was utterly ridiculous

Secondly, to compound matters he didn't book N'didi for the blatent 'professional foul' which prevented a West Ham breakaway, which should have been a yellow card whichever way you look at it

A second yellow and therefore a sending off
Nobody likes to see players being sent off and the commentator said something about Dean being lenient, but that's not the point

It was a second bookable offence and should have been a sending off

The standards of refereeing in the EPL are getting increasingly worse. Even with the help of VAR they're incapable of getting their decisions correct

Mike Dean is in a class of his own when it comes to poor decision making

The 'Son' incident in the spuds/manu game is yet another example of how incompetent EPL referees are

The cheat should get at least a retrospective one match ban, just as Lanzini did for allegedly diving to get a penalty at Stoke a few years back

Imagine the response of some on here if we had played like Leicester in the first half.
Arthur was a weak link but he’s just back after months out so it will take him another couple of weeks to get upto speed, our squad is paper thin.
We’ve just ground out another victory and apart for the last 20 odd minutes made Leicester who were 4 points to the better look bang average.
How anyone could possibly be anything other than delighted with today’s result is well beyond me.

Sven you usually annoy me but thats nailed it. Fair Play. todays match day whinging was not as bad as last weeks to be honest. But some of the Moaning Minnies last week were probably being talked down from the tops of 20 floor buildings like some of the other Mumsnet fuckos on here and then featuring on the depressed cunts thread. Sven Son you made me laugh , in short its happy days and you sad fucks enjoy it while it lasts. It may end up withgames against Barnsley or Watford as the highlight of next season

A brilliant result and what a positive it is to see Bowen really stepping up.
Nobles been very good the last couple of games,it’s not been easy to watch for the last half hour in the last couple of games after going three up.
Proud as punch to see us back in the mix for a champions league place.
